About

Dr. Sourav Dutta is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering, IIT Mandi (India). He earned his PhD degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India, in December 2022. Before joining IIT Mandi in February 2025, he was an Assistant Professor at BIT Mesra from June 2024 to February 2025. He was also a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, from January 2024 to June 2024, and a Research Associate at the GS Sanyal School of Telecommunications, IIT Kharagpur, from December 2021 to December 2023. His research interests include Extended Reality, Resource Allocation for 5G and Beyond Networks, Over-the-Air Computation, Fronthaul Design for 6G, and Resource Allocation for Optical Access Networks.
