1. Dr. Shreya Goyal is an Applied Scientist at the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, where her work focuses on developing scalable and production-ready Generative AI systems for diverse industrial applications. Her research spans retrieval-augmented and graph-based reasoning, multilingual document intelligence, LLM agents, and Scalable AI Architectures. Prior to joining AWS, she worked as a Research Scientist at American Express AI Labs, developing machine learning solutions for credit and fraud risk analytics. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI (RBCDSAI), IIT Madras, where she contributed to building language models and datasets for Indian languages and applying computer vision techniques to construction analytics. Dr. Goyal holds an M.Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Jodhpur, where her doctoral research focused on computer vision methods for indoor scene understanding and 2D architectural design. She has authored over 20 research publications in leading journals and conferences and holds a U.S. patent in AI-driven floor plan generation.
