About
I am Dr Kaushik Halder, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering at the IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India. I received B. Tech degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from the Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India, in 2008. I received M.E. degree in Power Engineering and PhD degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2010 and 2018, respectively. I received MHRD, Govt. of India scholarship for my master's study and UGC-BSR, Govt. of India fellowship for my doctoral study. I served as an Assistant Professor in the Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering department with the NIST, Odisha, India, during 2010–2013. After my PhD, I worked as a Postdocoral Research Fellow under under jointly sponsored project of EPSRC and Jaguar and Land Rover in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Sciences, University of Surrey, UK, during 2019-2021. Following that, I worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate under EPSRC sponsored project in the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, UK during 2021-202. My principal research interests include control theory, distributed & networked control systems, cooperative control systems, cyber-physical systems/IoT, intelligent systems, and vehicle platooning.
